In Milan, a church in the Villastanza neighborhood was attacked recently, where a Moroccan man allegedly set fire to a nativity scene within the building.
According to reports, the act was committed out of hatred towards Christians and Western society. The man is said to have said that only Allah alone should be worshipped and that everything else must be destroyed.
Police detained the individual, and local leaders condemned the act, labeling it a direct affront to local religious traditions. The fire caused substantial damage to the church, including to a historic organ, with repair costs expected to be high. The incident has sparked public discourse on religious tolerance and community security.
