In a recent video, an Islamist threat can be seen holding up a green flag with Islamist lettering in the middle of a German street, while several police officers stand in the immediate vicinity and do not intervene. These images are worrying and raise the question of why such radical symbols can be displayed in public without fear of consequences.

The green flag in the photo apparently shows the Shahada in Arabic script, which expresses the Islamic creed and translates as “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” This flag is often used by Islamist groups and therefore has a symbolic meaning in certain contexts that goes beyond the religious creed. When it appears at protests or in public situations, it can be perceived as a sign of religious or political radicalization.

It’s hard to believe, but Islamist extremists are now being celebrated by supporters on German streets. These scenes are a cause for concern and raise a fundamental question: How has it come to this, that radical tendencies are publicly celebrated in a country that has stood for democracy, the rule of law and tolerance for decades?
At the same time, many immigrants receive financial support from the state – with a generosity that is rarely found anywhere else in the world. In addition to financial assistance, accommodation and meals are often provided in full, often without any direct expectation of anything in return. This is intended to promote social peace and facilitate integration, but current events cast doubt on whether this approach will lead to a harmonious and safe society.
The deep gulf between expectations and reality
Many people in the country are now asking themselves: how does it fit together that, on the one hand, blameless citizens are being asked to pay while, on the other, people with radical tendencies are benefiting from the state’s social services? Look at these scenes – these are not foreigners in faraway places, but people in the middle of Europe celebrating ideological extremism on the streets.
The question arises as to whether Germany has reached a critical point where fundamental social values are under threat. Ensuring peaceful and respectful coexistence requires a rethink and clear regulations to ensure that support and solidarity are not abused.
It should also be mentioned that the police are not allowed to intervene. Apparently they have been forbidden to do so by politicians.
