The fact that such an organization is publicly celebrated in a German city is a cause for concern and raises questions about how such gatherings and their potential impact on peaceful coexistence should be dealt with. The display of support for actors who promote violent conflicts contradicts the values of an open, democratic society and calls into question society’s responsibility to react consistently to hatred and violence.
